This 25-hour workshop was specifically designed for written email communication, it focuses on email etiquette that one should use when writing or answering email messages. We cover correct capitalization and punctuation; writing numbers; differences between French and English punctuation; false friends and cognates; core vocabulary for business letters and emails; differences between formal, semi-formal and informal English pertaining to the subject; elimination of word redundancies; proper transitional words to use in longer emails: common business idioms used around the office and in meetings and presentations; vocabulary list pertaining to your job; a very useful 14-page Email English Phrase Bank as well as a 38-page Grammar Reference Section and Email writing practice exercises. Advanced language correction tools, translation tools and dictionaries.
At the end of this English Email Communication Workshop you will be able to:
Respect email etiquette for business correspondence; write and edit different types of emails and documents; recognize the difference between formal and informal business language; use an enriched vocabulary including business idioms and transitional words; apply grammar rules regarding punctuation and the use of capital letters; use linguistic structures and vocabulary specific to different types of professional documents.
One 25-Hour Workshop:
1 hour (60 minutes) lesson of 1-On-1 training = 60$ CAD
